TransMac is a Windows program that can copy files to and from Macintosh disks. Most disk types supported by TransMac include hard drive, CD-ROM, diskettes and most removable media. Remember Vista / 7 / 8users: If due to excessive security landscape, even users with administrator access will find TransMac show some disk (specifically established disk), since disk access requires a higher level the privilege. TransMac can be used to temporarily elevated privileges by right-clicking on the program icon and select Run as administrator or consistently select Properties and check Run this program as an administrator under the Compatibility tab.
